Fatality is a collection of short stories I wrote, illustrated, and designed, subverting fairy tales assembled by the Brothers Grimm, in order to address the gaps between the morals communicated in old European fairy tales, and the attitudes that tend to be expressed within the current zeitgeist. This outcome also operates as a vessel for my criticisms and reflections on Western society through a satirical frame, and is therefore aimed at young adults, particularly due to the tone and illustrative styles I employed throughout. The key messages boil down to criticisms of racism, drug use, genocide, deception, and my own struggle with procrastination, through reimagining well-known stories: Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, and The Frog Prince.
