Slumber Party

An experimental 40-page publication exploring the storytelling capacity of the human subconscious, with a focus on nightmares. The narrative begins on the cover, with the counting of sheep and deep thought, before the eventual lift-off into slumber. We explore the nightmares of four individuals from different backgrounds, and a short comic and final message bring the journey to an “open conclusion”. Double page spreads detailing the scientific and conceptual notions of what happens when we sleep ground the publication in reality. Mixed media collage and illustration on A5 paper.
